Return Policy

At Spectrum Organising, we take great care in creating and packaging our products so they arrive safely and exactly as described. This Returns & Exchanges Policy outlines your rights and our responsibilities under Australian consumer law and international consumer protection standards.

By purchasing from spectrumorganising.com.au ("Website"), you agree to the terms below.

1. Change‑of‑Mind Returns

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.

This applies to all products, including original artwork, digital downloads, creative tools, and physical goods.

2. Damaged or Faulty Items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or significantly different from its description, you are entitled to a refund or exchange, in line with global consumer protection laws.

To process a damaged‑goods claim, you must provide one of the following:

  • Adequate photographic evidence clearly showing the damage; or

  • Return of the item to us for inspection.

Once the item or photographic proof is received and verified, we will issue a refund or send a replacement.

Important notes:

  • Photographs must clearly show the damage and the packaging (if relevant).

  • If returning the item, it must be posted back within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.

3. Exchanges

We offer exchanges under the following conditions:

  • We do not exchange for change of mind so please choose your items carefully

  • We may be able to amend the item/s in your order if you contact us before your item has been sent

  • If exchanging an item, it must be posted back to us within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • The customer must return the item in the exact condition it arrived, including all packaging, tags, and protective materials.

  • The item must be unused, undamaged, and in resellable condition.

  • The customer is responsible for return postage costs unless the item was faulty or damaged on arrival.

  • Exchanges are processed once the returned item has been inspected and approved.

  • Items can only be exchanged for another item of equal value, unless an additional payment is made to make up the difference

If the returned item does not meet the above criteria, we may decline the exchange.

4. Incorrect or Missing Items

If you receive the wrong item or something is missing from your order, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will correct the issue at no cost to you.

5. Return Shipping

When returning an item:

  • Use protective packaging to prevent damage in transit.

  • Keep your postal receipt and tracking number.

  • We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

6. Digital Products

Due to the nature of digital downloads, workshops, and online creative resources:

  • No refunds or exchanges are offered for digital products once delivered.

  • If you experience a technical issue accessing your digital file, we will assist you promptly.

7. How to Start a Return or Exchange

Email us at melinda@spectrumorganising.com.au with:

  • Your order number

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos (if applicable)

  • Whether you prefer a refund or exchange

We aim to respond within 2–3 business days.

8. International Customers

This policy is designed to comply with:

  • Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

  • EU Consumer Rights Directive

  • UK Consumer Rights Act

  • US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines

  • Canadian Consumer Product Regulations

Where local laws provide additional mandatory rights, those rights will be honoured.
